What information we collect 

We may collect personal information about you as follows ("Personal Information"):

  • Voluntary Information: We may collect information that you provide us voluntarily such as your email address. For instance, when you fill out your email address and click ״Stay Informed״ you sign up to receive updates or further information from us, or when you communicate with us via the 'contact us' option on the Website. In those cases we will use such information to contact you in connection with your submission to us. Such information may also include Personal Information that is shared with us by third parties, based on your consent to be contacted for marketing purposes. 
  • Device Information: We may collect specific types of connection details and information with regard to your device, software or hardware that may identify you. Such information may include your browser type, OS version, device model, IP address, device location, network information, etc.
  • User Activity. Information regarding User's activity on the Website such as your clicks, actions and browsing on the Website.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), provides you with additional rights regarding your Personal Information:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected, the sources of collection, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Alt Security does not collect or process sensitive Personal Information as defined under the CPRA (including precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, or similar categories) in the ordinary course of providing services. Should this change, you will have the right to limit the use of such information to purposes authorized by the CCPA.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

We will verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within 45 days, which may be extended by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Children's Data

Our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or receive personal information from children under 16 (or such different age as required by applicable law). If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child below the applicable age threshold, we will take steps to promptly delete that information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
